Dan Graham

Founder & Principal, Notley

Dan Graham is the founder of Notley, an Austin-based family office built on the belief that capital and community are strongest when they work together. Notley operates across two arms — a for-profit investment portfolio and a philanthropic and community-building practice — reflecting Dan and his wife Lisa's conviction that the most durable returns and the most meaningful impact come from the same place.

A born-and-raised Austinite, Dan studied computer science and philosophy at the University of Texas before earning a law degree with a focus on intellectual property. In 2006 he founded BuildASign, a custom printing and signage company he scaled to more than $150M in revenue before its acquisition by Vistaprint (Cimpress) in 2018.

Since then, Dan has deployed capital across more than 250 direct investments and dozens of funds spanning consumer, technology, real estate, energy, and biotech. He is a Co-Founder and General Partner of Springdale Ventures, an early-stage fund investing in the next generation of consumer and CPG brands — a portfolio that includes standouts like BeatBox Beverages, GOODLES, Caraway, and First Day Vitamins. Through this work, Dan has become a recognized voice on where consumer brands create lasting value: durable unit economics, real repeat behavior, and the discipline to scale profitably rather than chase growth.

Dan is also the founder of the Center for Social Innovation, part of a 150,000-square-foot campus in East Austin, and a committed builder of the city's entrepreneurial and family-office ecosystem — convening founders, investors, and next-generation families around shared learning rather than transaction.
